The Ultimate Guide To Grand Canyon National Park - West Rim (Sky Walk)
One of the seven natural wonders of the world, Grand Canyon, does justice to its name. It’s an enormous and deep valley carved by the Colorado River over a period of 6 – 7 million years. There are three main sections to explore in Grand Canyon: North rim, South rim, and West rim (Skywalk). In this post I will take you through the Grand Canyon West Rim (Sky Walk), you can read about the South & North rim here: The Ultimate Guide to Grand Canyon National Park – South & North Rim.
Sky Walk / West Rim
The Grand Canyon West rim / Skywalk is conveniently located near Las Vegas. The West rim provides some remarkable ways to explore Grand Canyon, walk on a see-through glass floor on the Skywalk, fly over the canyon in a helicopter, go down the river in riverboats, a zip line, and several popular viewing points including the Guano Point and Eagle Point.
Address: GPS Lat: 35.987860, Long: -113.820441 Entrance Fee: General Admission ticket $56, includes a hop-on/hop-off shuttle service, I would recommend buying the combo tickets including entry to the Skywalk and lunch at one of the points.
